It is now December, and a lot of people are getting ready for their tax documents. I know from my own experience, that as soon as it's January, I want to file my taxes. Unfortunately I have to wait for documents as well.

If you don't receive your W-2 by February 5, you can contact your employer, or if you have access to your company's payroll system, you may find your W-2 there. 1099's for investments, you may be able to access your tax forms on the investment website.
